Always on the lookout ...

… for new things to use for teaching and look what I found - the sweetest little flash card books . Made by a Japanese company called Midori and available from www.thejournalshop.com . Each contain about 100 pages so they're perfect for vocabulary or maths formulae or times tables or whatever.

There are heaps of animals to choose from hedgehogs to hippos . I went for the polar bear, penguin, squirrel and hedgehog . I may just have to go back and order some more .

Organisation

I'm sure I can't be the only one feverishly re-organising their craft supplies . I found this clipboard thing lurking in a cupboard that I'd bought from Country View Crafts when it was half price thinking it may come in useful one day - well it's day arrived and that was yesterday.

I have many little packets of 'things' that I never know what to do with - labels, stickers, chipboard pieces , do-dads whatever they call them , with no home to go to but now they do. I bundled them all into separate little glassine envelopes with one of each envelope's contents stuck to the outside so that I'd know what was inside.

I love the way it's turned out and hopefully I'll be more likely to get around to using some of the bits and pieces. Now all I have to do is find somewhere to hang it …. All in good time, you can't rush these things !
